This document contains our Estimates for repair and maintenace Services.
PLEASE NOTE: We hate to disappoint clients, but, you should note that we do NOT accept Quartz Watches or Electronic (quartz) Clocks for any form of servicing or battery replacement.
Please do NOT send quartz items either for battery replacement or service requests, as all such requests will be declined.
All return postage and packaging fees associated with items sent contrary to this notice, (plus a handling fee of £20) will be required to be paid prior to our return shipping.
Sorry but there will be no exceptions to this Notice
All our work is charged in UK-Pounds (Sterling Currency); the Euro (based upon a conversion rate of 1:1.06) and US Dollar (based upon a conversion rate of 1:1.68) prices are shown as an indicative example only and are unlikely to be entirely accurate due to exchange rate fluctuations
UK Pounds is the base price which should be used by all.
All prices exclude any additions such as new materials supplied, Postage and Packaging, Insurance (if requested), State or Local Taxes (e.g within the EU - VAT), etc.
If you are sending any items to us do NOT include any form of payment within the package.
You will receive written (email/fax/letter) confirmation of the costs prior to any work commencing.
These estimated charges are the base prices to be applied. As such they may be subject to additional fees depending upon the actual, or additional, repairs carried out. For the sake of clarity, ...these estimates are for Labour Only and do not include any allowances for any parts supplied..
These estimated costs were established October 2003, and were ratified for exchange rate purposes August 2009. They are subject to revision at any time but are generally fixed for 12months from the August 2009 date. All prices are subject to continual revision and updates will be notified on this website.
Further changes are at our sole discretion.

Note: the 400-Day (Anniversary clock) charge above reflects the level of risk of us receiving a warranty claim, or call-back, for this particular style of clock.
Generally we have found that such claims are due to the clock being sited inappropriately in the home, the price of the repair reflects our inability to influence such directly. (We can't tell where you have sited your clock or how appropriate it is... but we are stillexpected to respond to your plea for help if it is sited in a poor location.
These clocks in particular must be located in a position which is both stable, and protected from fluctuating heatsources (e.g. radiators).
It has been our experience that 'call-backs' relating to these clocks are almost always due to inappropriate positioning of the timepiece in the home.
All customers must be reminded that the sensitivity of the escapement of these clocks makes positioning an important consideration.
With the best will in the world we simply cannot accept any responsibility for the positioning of the clock, nor will we guarantee that it's location is appropriate unless you request, and pay for, a site visit by one of our staff.
